Can someone with more knowledge than I have of engines answer this question for me -- could the metallic rattle I've heard from both of my exhaust systems be coming from the engine rather than the pipes? (See my recent post on the Raask dragpipe.) That is, could that sound, which seems to be in the pipe somewhere between the first and second bends, be coming through the pipe from inside the motor? If so, what might be causing it?
